The Brackett School PTO would like to extend an invitation to all new and returning families to become involved in the Brackett School PTO. The PTO is made up of a number of committees and the Board. All PTO members contribute to support the PTO’s goals to maintain and enhance the community spirit at the Brackett School, and to support Mrs. Zerchykov and the teachers in their academic plans.
How can you become involved? Three ways are outlined here:
- Come to Meetings: Attending and participating in monthly meetings is a great way to learn about PTO activities and to contribute your ideas. Meetings are announced in the weekly newsletter, but are generally held on the third Thursday of each month at 6:00 pm. Babysitting is available.
- Volunteer: The strength and success of the PTO is found in the strength of our volunteer force. Please take a moment to review the attached summary of PTO committees and volunteer opportunities. Please complete the enclosed volunteer form and return it to the office, to your child’s teacher, or at Back-to-School Night on Thursday, October 5th.
- Make a Financial Contribution: The Annual Contribution Form is also included in this packet. Please return your contribution either to the office, your child’s teacher, or at Back-to -School Night.
