Good Afternoon Brackett Families,

We are still waiting for final word on our budget, but I know that many people are eager to move forward with preparations for the new school year.  In particular, many parents have asked for a classroom suppplies list.  Teachers usually send their new students a classroom specific supply list along with a welcome letter.  Since this year's circumstances will delay that communication,

I have compiled a generic list for each grade.  Your child's teacher may add some items when class notification letters go out or when school is back in session, this list should enable everyone to get a good start on back-to-school planning.

Many of you know Ann Wynne as a Brackett parent, artist, art teacher, and a mainstay of the Brackett PTO Visual Enrichment Committee, (better know as the Art Squad). Ann wrote a commentary for the Arlington Advocate on "The Value of Art Education."
